852 / Kids Swimrun 2026

The whole swimrun weekend opened with 852 Swimrun / Kids Swimrun on Friday at 17:00. The weather was a little challenging with some wind and waves, which made it chilly, above all on land. The water temperature, on the other hand, was genuinely pleasant at close to 20 degrees.

Both the number of entries and the number of children on the start line were a participant record, which was of course a real joy. It bodes well for the future. This year the focus was very much on swimming, with both long and frequent swims.

The children took on an 852 metre lap, doing as many laps as they could in one hour. Wonderful to see every child fired up and inspired for the full hour. Every child counts as a winner this year, and the ones who did the most laps were Nathalia Holgersson and Maja Holsbrink.
