OM EVOLVENTEST. 2020

Same DNA. Two outputs.

Evolvent grew from a stubborn idea: swimrun, racing and training should be sharp, warm and close. Today we run our own races and partner events. We also build hand-laminated carbon paddles in limited runs.

What we believe

Sharp. Warm. Close.

Racing and motion are for everyone who wants in. A good arena is built from detail. Equipment should be made by the people who race in it.

The social side matters at least as much as the racing itself.

History

The road here.

  1. 2017

    Carbon

    First carbon paddle

The first composite paddle is built by hand. The seed of what later becomes Evolvent Carbonpaddles.

  2. 2020

    Lopp

    Evolvent Experience is founded

Four training buddies in Ronneby want to give public health, training and recreation events more room. The first race is Ronneby Reflect Run. Despite the pandemic, several races are arranged, among them the first 1852 Swimrun, Evolvent Duathlon and Funday Swimrun.

  3. 2021

    Carbon

    Carbonpaddles gets its name

Paddle making is formalised as Evolvent Carbonpaddles. Production picks up during the pandemic years and has grown since.

  4. 2023

    Lopp

    Fredrik takes over

Fredrik Hedlund carries Evolvent forward on his own. From 2023 to 2025 a long series of races is arranged in Ronneby: swimrun, backyard ultra, trail, canicross and more.

  5. 2025

    Lopp & carbon

    A new direction

The first carbon paddle is sold to a retailer. After years of resistance to events in Ronneby, the decision is made to leave the municipality.

  6. 2026

    Lopp

    A new journey in Karlskrona

Evolvent turns its gaze to Karlskrona and events beyond Ronneby. 1852 Swimrun moves to Dragsö.
