We take over Dragsö and Karlskrona, which finally gets a swimrun race again. We present a new place, new city, new event, new arena, new atmosphere and a few new rules that will make the race even more exciting.
In 2026 the most social and spectacular swimrun race will show off the atmosphere and a brand new arena experience on Dragsö. It is probably the only race that suits beginners and the very best elite equally well.
The only race that suits both beginners and the absolute elite.
Whether you are going for the podium or just want to try something new, you are warmly welcome to the start.
The course

Run sections: The campsite · Trollstigen
The lap course runs around Dragsö winding trails, past the campsite, through Trollstigen and swims from both the northern beach and across Dragsö large beach.

The last two in the competitive class settle the win head-to-head. The women's final is run separately when only two women remain, and the race continues after it. New for 2026.

Live band, dancing and community. Open to competitors, partners and the wider public.
Women's final
New for 2026New for 2026: a dedicated women's final. When only two women remain in the competitive class they settle it head-to-head, the same format as the main final. After that the race continues.
Spectators & grandstand
Free entry to the grandstand. Food, drink, DJs and announcer all through Saturday. The crowd comes close to both start and finish.
Rules & equipment
Two classes, one course. From eliminations to mandatory equipment.
Elimination from lap 4 · Cut-off 18:52 / 28:18
Solo. Same rules as before, but with tougher eliminations and a brand new women's final.
Same course as the competitive class. Your own pace, a lower threshold.
Mandatory equipment
Other permitted equipment follows ÖtillÖ Swimrun rules (equipment rule 3.5): a pull buoy of max 32×30×15 cm, and no colour on the suit or pull buoy that dissolves in the water (leads to disqualification).

Stay near the start
First-class lodging on Dragsö. Cabins, camping, wonderful food, minigolf, a magical beach and a sauna raft. The tip for anyone who wants to stay near the start all weekend.

Our meeting place on Dragsö. Here we gather before the start and here the evening carries on. Havsviken opens the evening menu with a live band, dancing and community after the finish.
